A10x Settings for Australia
The following settings may be useful when configuring the Sangoma drivers for use with Australian providers: | Media type | E1/T1 | This will be E1 for all Telstra and Optus lines. Only select T1 (or any of the other options) if you know you are connecting to foreign equipment | | Framing type | CRC4/NCRC4 | Telstra and Optus use CRC4 | | Clock | Normal/Master | Normal means that clocking is provided by the remote end, which will be the case for most provisioned lines Master means that the Sangoma card provides the clocking itself. This should not be necessary in most cases - if it is, you should already know why! | | Signalling type | PRI CPE/PRI NET | CPE stands for "Customer Premises Equipment" and is the setting that most Telstra and Optus lines will expect Only select NET if you know the remote device is in CPE mode. | |
